Kathleen Chapman
Office Manager

"I’m excited to work for a company that is dedicated to investing in and improving the quality of life for Hawaiʻi. It’s a great opportunity to be a part of an organization that looks for ways to mindfully partner with innovative groups and projects that will help the community be more self-sufficient and resilient.”
Kathleen comes to Ulupono Initiative from Alexander and Baldwin, where she served as human resources staffing coordinator, managing recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement, and before that as executive assistant to the president and chief executive officer. She also worked as deputy chief of staff to then-U.S. Congressman Neil Abercrombie in Washington, D.C. and, subsequently, executive assistant to Abercrombie after he was elected governor of the State of Hawaiʻi.
Raised in Kalaheo, Kauaʻi, Kathleen earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at Seattle University.
