Background

Seeing a significant increase in need during the coronavirus pandemic, Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is working closely with state and local health authorities to provide the best possible care to our patients. Funds will be used to hire staff to manage purchasing, inventory and procurement of food products from local farmers.

Who We Worked With

The Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is a non-profit organization governed by a community that addresses health disparities, improves population health, and reduces health inequalities despite financial and cultural barriers.

$30,000 grant provided through the Ulupono Fund at the Hawaii Community Foundation

Impact
