Relief for Hog Farmers Impacted by COVID-19
To provide relief for pork producers to sustain their local operations with feed purchases.
Critical and immediate financial capital was needed specifically to help Hawaii’s hog farmers who, before the COVID-19 pandemic, relied largely on restaurant food scraps as animal feed. Funds were applied toward the purchase of feed to sustain their operations at a time when it was most needed.
