Assistance was provided to support the hiring of an independent contractor to create and distribute a database of grant, loan, and other funding opportunities for agricultural producers.
The Oahu Agriculture and Conservation Association supports sustainable agriculture and conservation through education, research, and partnerships. It was founded by a group of long-time farmers, business owners, landowners, and land managers who wanted to see ag thrive in Hawaii and be part of that solution. Efforts focus on expanding knowledge and implementation of best management practices for conservation and agriculture sectors. To do that the organization offers workshops and resources to assist landowners and land managers(landowner workshops and cooperator process), new and immigrant farmer training (Together We Farm), pre-and more.
