Nick Redding, Ph.D.

Director of Social Research & Strategy

As the Director of Social Research & Strategy, Nick Redding, Ph.D. has joined the team in a newly created role to help Ulupono Initiative’s systems-thinking and strategy. 

“Ulupono Initiative gives me the opportunity to apply my organizational psychology and networks background to the area of sustainability. I am proud to help improve Hawaii’s self-sufficiency.”

Nick received a Ph.D. in social organizational psychology from Columbia University, a Master of Science in psychology from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Washington State University. His studies included conflict, dynamic approaches to conflict, motivation in conflict, networks, organizational culture, online social behavior, and collaboration.

Fun fact: Nick enjoys listening to podcasts. His two favorite are Freakanomics and Inivisibilia.
